Research
The logo takes cues from Korean postage stamps and stylized Hangul forms. We pulled from Priscilla’s earlier work, including the mo-ran (모란) flower, and created a custom type treatment for “Genesis” (제네시스).
Research
We revisited Korean history and Minhwa to understand how tradition could meet modernity. This phase raised a central question—how can something sacred and familiar be carried forward without losing its spirit?
Digital
To reach beyond our immediate community, we turned to social platforms. We shared updates, answered questions, and used design as a tool for storytelling. Through word of mouth and visual content, the project found its way across the country.
The design began as a hand sketch, then moved into Illustrator to preserve the textures and rhythm of traditional strokes. We layered in modern forms to bring contrast and clarity, finding a balance between what’s inherited and what’s evolving.
The thank-you cards were made by hand, start to finish. Each mo-ran stamp was carved from rubber, inked on glass, and pressed onto textured paper. We printed in batches, dried them over racks, then trimmed and packed each card with care. This was our way of honoring every person who joined the project.
