Journl is a mobile app I designed to archive physical journals in a simple and accessible way. I created this as a fun personal project inspired by how often I use Apple Notes and how much I enjoy handwriting things like journal entries, letters, and to-do lists. I love the tactile experience of writing but I don’t always carry my notebook around, and I sometimes want to revisit old pages or declutter things like birthday cards without losing the memories. Journl gives me a way to snap a photo, store it neatly, and access it anytime. It also lets me write digital entries when I don’t have a notebook on hand. This project was about designing something lightweight and purposeful, built around habits I already have.

Currently building a live prototype using Vercel’s V0 no-code builder. The goal is to continue refining the experience and eventually release it to the App Store.
